Recycled silver
The 925 Sterling Silver we use is recycled, as part of our commitment to the planet. We also melt down all pieces that are defective or can no longer be sold to create new ones. This way, we give our jewelry a second life and help recycle this material.

01925 Sterling Silver
All our jewelry is made from 925 Sterling Silver. It contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. This blend improves the strength and durability of the silver, since the pure metal is too soft to make jewelry.
925 Sterling Silver is a precious metal that meets quality standards and is considered first-grade silver. You can wear it every day, and although it can get dirty, it can always be cleaned so it shines like the first day.

0222k gold-plated 925 Sterling Silver
Our gold-plated jewelry has a 925 Sterling Silver base with 22k gold plating. The gold plating is 2 microns thick on earrings, necklaces and bracelets, and 3 microns on rings.
It's the best value for money to keep your jewelry durable. On rings we add extra plating thickness so they last much longer, since they're more exposed on your hands.

039K gold
The jewelry in this collection is made from 9K gold. This means 37.5% is pure gold and 62.5% is other metals, such as silver, copper or zinc. This alloy improves the strength and durability of the gold, making it better suited for everyday wear.
9K gold is a precious metal that offers excellent value for money. Its composition makes it more resistant to knocks and scratches than higher-purity gold.

04925 Sterling Silver plated
We love creating unique, special designs, and some of them are large pieces that, made in solid silver, would be very expensive because of their weight. So you can wear them without the price going through the roof, we make them in brass and plate them in 925 Sterling Silver.
Brass is a durable, versatile material, and the plating gives it the finish of silver. This way we get a more affordable price without giving up on the design. The gold versions have 22k gold plating.

05Surgical steel
At San Saru we use surgical steel exclusively for some of our piercings, ensuring the best quality and skin compatibility.
Surgical steel is a hypoallergenic material, highly resistant to corrosion and wear, which makes it ideal for everyday use and contact with the skin. Its durability and shiny finish make it a perfect choice for body jewelry, keeping its look over time without any special care.
Stones
Besides working with 925 Sterling Silver and 9-karat gold, we work with natural stones (these are listed in each product description). We have Moonstone, Topaz, Labradorite, Onyx, Rose Quartz, Quartz, Mystic Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, Aquamarine, Howlite, Amazonite, Sodalite, Amethyst, Tiger's Eye, Natural Garnet, Larimar, Chalcedony, Blue Agate, Fuchsia Agate, Jade, Citrine, Carnelian, Jasper, White Scolecite and Malachite.
In some designs, stones such as Turquoise, Amber, Blue Sunstone, Ruby and Brown Sunstone are reconstituted stones, made from natural stone by joining several small pieces. We also work with natural materials such as Mother-of-pearl and shells. And, like the reconstituted stones, we have reconstituted Coral. Other pieces are made with cubic zirconia and crystal. Opal and some Turquoise stones, however, are man-made.
Warranty
Many of our pieces are made by us in Barcelona, and others in workshops we work closely with.
All San Saru jewelry comes with a three-year warranty* from delivery. If your piece has broken or been damaged during this period, get in touch with us. We'll need you to keep the defective product and send us a photo showing its condition; this is the only way we can process your claim. Once we've assessed its condition, we'll offer you a solution depending on the situation and the product. We can't offer a solution without checking the condition of the product.
The warranty doesn't cover damage from wear, such as: breakage, wear and tear, scratches, loss of gold plating, dirt or loss.
Keep in mind that all precious metals can get dirty. If you have a problem with dirt on your jewelry, you just need to clean it using one of our methods. Contact us so we can explain the best method to clean your piece. If the problem persists after using the recommended method, we'll ask you for a video of you cleaning it before offering any solution.
