Create your fingerprint jewel with silicone
Before you start creating your piece from the Fingerprints with a soul collection, it's important that you read all the steps we leave for you below. If you have any questions, you can email or call us, since you are about to create a unique piece of jewellery that cannot be modified.
Create the Fingerprint Ring step by step with the help of silicone
Before you start engraving your fingerprint, we recommend you to watch this video with all the steps and tips so that your engravement turns out perfect.
What do you need to have before starting?
Sensitive-area silicone pack: includes two silicone jars; a purple and a white one. An approximate amount to make 3-4 moulds.
Fingerprint ring pack: It includes one candle and two wax moulds in your chosen size, a larger a smaller one. When you open your package, you will see 4 wax moulds in total.
VERY IMPORTANT: We are sending you several moulds so that you can practise with them and then use the one in your size to make the final version. Before sending us the wax, make sure it is the correct size one. You can only send us one wax mould.
STEP BY STEP
1. Preparing the mould
First, you need to create the silicone mould that you will later use to press into the wax. To create this mould:
Measure the quantities
You need to take the same amount of purple and white silicone (approximately ⅓ of each jar. You don’t need to use all the product, as you can create up to 3–4 moulds with it). Use different hands to take each colour (it is important that the silicones do not mix inside the jars, otherwise they will harden prematurely).
If you want to mark a snout or an animal paw print, use a small amount of silicone to obtain a more defined imprint.
Mix the silicones and create the mould
Take the two portions and mix them until you get an even color. Make a ball with the mixture and flatten it slightly. You can use the lid of one of the jars as a base (using the lid allows you to have a flat perimeter to work better). You have 1 minute from the moment you mix the silicones until they start to harden. Within that minute you must press your print into the silicone.
Let the mould harden
Once you’ve made the impression, wait 20 minutes for the silicone to fully harden.
2. Size check
Before you start, you have to try on the rings and once you find the size that fits you, we recommend you to use that wax mould the last one. The other 3 rings are for practising. It’s not very complicated, but it’s better to do a few tests first.
Jewellery wax is a soft and delicate material, so you’ll need to handle it very carefully.
3. Engraving the print
Make sure the silicone has hardened
Before placing it on the wax, make sure the silicone you created is completely solid.
Light the candle
Light the candle in a airstream free place. Hold the wax mould by the stick so you don’t burn yourself and bring it close to the flame to heat evenly the surface where you are going to engrave the fingerprint. Do it as flat as possible, with small movements so the heat does not concentrate in a single point, and only heat the centre, never the sides.
If for any reason the stick breaks, don’t worry, you can insert a paper clip or a needle in the area where the stick was to handle it. As long as the ring or plate is fine, there will be no problem.
If you overheat the wax, it may drip, and if you press too hard when making your print, it may overflow.
If this happens and you send us the wax in that state, the ring will keep that shape.
If you don’t want the jewel to have that excess edge, you need to remove it carefully so that the ring keeps its round shape.
Press it into the mould
When the wax is warm, quickly place it on the silicone, in the area where you liked the result most. Press for a few seconds so that it copies the shape well and it will be ready.
Repetitions
If the print does not mark well or you don’t like the result, heat it again and repeat the process. It’s okay; it’s completely normal to repeat until it looks the way you want.
Keep in mind that only the part where the hot wax presses will be engraved, so if the print in the silicone is very large, only the area in contact will be transferred.
4. Final mould and shipping
Once you have the final mould, get rid of the leftovers.
Before closing the box, take 2 photos of the wax (one of each side) on a flat surface and with good lighting. Place the final piece inside the San Saru pouch and put it in the box. Do not add anything else that could hit the mould.
When you have the package ready, go to our Returns portal and enter your order number and the email, postcode or phone number you used when you placed the order.
Follow the steps indicated in the portal: select the fingerprint product you purchased, choose the option “Change for the same model” and click Continue. As the reason, select “Sending wax moulds”.
Next, upload the 2 photos and click Continue. Once the request is approved, you will receive the return label and the instructions by email so you can send the package.
“If your order is from the Canary Islands, the return label is already included in the package. You will only need to prepare the parcel, stick the label on it and take it to your nearest Correos drop-off point. There is no need to process anything in the returns portal.”
When we receive the wax, our workshop will bring your jewel to life within approximately 20-30 business days.
All shipping costs are included. Once it is ready, we will send you the finished piece and you will receive an email with the shipping details so you can track it.

Create the jewel step by step with the help of silicone
Before you start engraving your print, we recommend that you watch this video with all the steps and tips so that your print turns out perfect.
What do you need to have before starting?
Sensitive Area Silicone Pack: Includes two silicone containers; a purple and a white one. This is an approximate amount enough to make 3–4 molds.
Fingerprint Pack: Includes a candle and four wax molds so you can make more than one attempt without worry.
VERY IMPORTANT: We are sending you several molds so you can practice. The wax molds are exactly the same; you can practice with two and then use the last one to create the final version, being able to engrave both sides. Before sending us the wax, make sure it's the correct mold. You can only send us one wax mold.

You have 1 minute from the moment you mix the silicones until they start to harden. Within that minute, you must press your fingerprint onto the silicone.

Once imprinted, wait 20 minutes until the silicone is fully solidified.
