Create your pendant
Before you start creating your pendant, it's important to read all the steps below. If you have any questions, you can email us or give us a call, since you're about to create a one-of-a-kind piece that can't be changed once it's made.

What's in your pack?
Your San Saru pack comes with everything you need: the box with red wax, the marker to show us where the jump ring goes, and a card with instructions in a QR code.
STEP BY STEP
How does the wax work?
The red wax works like modeling clay. With the warmth of your hands, it softens little by little. No fire or outside heat needed, just a bit of patience.
Whatever shape you give it is exactly the shape your piece will end up with. Any mark, texture, or detail left on the wax will show up in the final result too.
Not happy with it?
You can start over from scratch! If the result isn't quite right, no problem. Just reshape the wax and start again. You can repeat this as many times as you need.
Total creative freedom
You have total creative freedom, with a few things to keep in mind:
- With your wax, you'll create a pendant for a necklace.
- Keep the wax in one single piece (you can make little balls or shapes, but everything needs to end up connected).
- Don't add any outside objects.
- You can use tools to shape your wax or add texture to it.
- You can remove wax if you want to create something smaller.
How do I mark where the jump ring goes?
Once you have the shape you like, use the marker from the pack to show us on the piece where you want the jump ring to go. That's the part your piece will hang from.
Send the wax back to us!
Once it's ready, let the wax cool down and place it inside its little box to protect it from bumps.
Once your package is ready, go to our returns portal and enter your order number along with the email, zip code, or phone number you used for your purchase.
Follow the steps on the portal: select the fingerprint product you bought, choose "Exchange for the same model" and click Continue. As the reason, select "Wax shipment".
Then add the 2 photos and click Continue. Once your request is approved, you'll get the return label and instructions for shipping by email.
"If your order is from the Canary Islands, the return label is already included in the package. You'll just need to prepare the package, stick on the label, and drop it off at your nearest post office. No need to do anything on the returns portal."
Once we receive the wax, our workshop will bring your piece to life within an estimated 20-30 business days.
All shipping costs are included.
Once it's ready, we'll send you the finished piece and you'll get an email with the shipping details so you can track it.

Can I create any shape I want?
Yes, you have total creative freedom. You can create whatever pendant you like, as long as you don't add any outside objects and you send us just one piece. You can split the wax into little balls, but the final result needs to be all connected.

Can I press my fingerprint into the wax?
Yes, you can leave your fingerprint, since the red wax works like modeling clay. Any mark, texture, or detail left on the wax will show up in the final result too.

What kind of piece can I create?
With this wax, you'll be creating a necklace. The marker included in your pack is for showing us on the piece where you want the jump ring of your pendant to go.

How long does the process take?
The pack is shipped within 24 to 48 business hours. Once you've created your pendant and sent it back to us, you'll receive your piece within 20-30 business days.

Can I buy it in a physical store?
Yes, you can buy the pack directly in our physical stores.
Once you've created the mold, you'll need to return the pack to the store where you bought it.
We'll send it to our workshop to create your piece, and once it's ready, we'll let you know so you can pick it up in store.

Can I exchange or return it?
No, since these are personalized pieces, exchanges and returns aren't possible. Keep in mind that your piece is one of a kind and made especially for you.
