RECYCLED SILVER
The 925 Sterling Silver we use is recycled, reflecting our commitment to the planet. In addition, we melt down any defective or unsellable pieces to create new ones giving our jewelry a second life and contributing to sustainable recycling.
QUALITY COMMITMENT
925 Sterling Silver
All our jewelry is made in 925 Sterling Silver. It contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. This alloy enhances the strength and durability of silver, since pure silver is too soft for jewelry.
925 Sterling Silver is a precious metal that meets quality standards and is considered first-grade silver. You can wear it daily it may tarnish, but it can always be cleaned to shine like new.
925 Sterling Silver plated in 22k Gold
Our gold-plated jewelry is made on a base of 925 Sterling Silver with a 22k plating.
It offers the best quality‑to‑price ratio to ensure durability. We apply an extra thick plating on rings to increase longevity, as they are more prone to wear.
9K GOLD
Jewels in this collection are crafted in 9K Gold, which means 37.5% pure gold and 62.5% other metals such as silver, copper, or zinc. This alloy boosts strength and durability, making it suitable for daily wear.
9K Gold is a precious metal that offers an excellent value‑for‑money ratio. Its composition makes it more resistant to knocks and scratches than higher‑purity gold.
BRASS
Some of our larger pieces which couldn’t reach a reasonable end price due to their weight are made in brass, a durable and versatile material. However, we do not use brass for rings in order to maintain our quality.
Our brass pieces are plated with precious materials to ensure durability and finish: silver‑plated brass in 925 Sterling Silver and gold‑plated brass in 22k.
SURGICAL STEEL
At San Saru we use surgical steel exclusively for some of our piercings, ensuring the best quality and skin compatibility. Surgical steel is hypoallergenic and highly resistant to corrosion and wear, making it ideal for daily use and skin contact.
Its durability and bright finish make it perfect for body jewelry, maintaining its appearance over time without special care.
WARRANTY
All San Saru jewelry has a three‑year warranty* from delivery. If your piece breaks or suffers damage during this period, please contact us. You must keep the defective product and send us a photo showing its condition only then can we process your claim. After evaluating, we’ll offer a solution depending on the case and product. We cannot proceed without verifying the item’s condition.
The warranty does not cover wear caused by normal use, such as breakage, wear, scratches, loss of gold, dirt, or loss.
Keep in mind that all precious metals can tarnish. If you have an issue with jewelry tarnish, simply clean it using one of our recommended methods. Contact us and we’ll explain the best cleaning method. If the problem persists despite following our instructions, we'll ask you to send a video of the cleaning before offering any solution.
